Have you ever felt like you’re not good enough?
Is it hard for you to find your own voice?

How I Can Help:

  • Let’s face it, starting therapy can be overwhelming. I aim to create a space that is warm and inviting, and has a bit of laughter.

  • Build confidence from the inside out. You deserve to feel good about who you are. Whether it’s learning how to speak up for yourself, stop overthinking, or finally feel "good enough," I’m here to help you feel more confident in your own skin.

  • Learn to trust your gut again I help people reconnect with their inner voice so they can make decisions with more clarity and confidence.

  • Build stronger boundaries & healthier relationships. If dating feels confusing or it’s hard to trust others, you’re not alone. I help people feel more in control of their choices, set clear boundaries, and trust themselves when it comes to love and connection.

  • Get out of your head and into your life. Overthinking can take up so much space. I’ll help you gently quiet the noise in your mind so you can feel more grounded, more present, and more connected to yourself and the people around you.

I am trained in ACT, EFT, Brainspotting, EMDR, and trauma-informed practices.

Specialties

I specialize in helping successful BIPOC women increase their self confidence and break free from feeling like they're never enough.

You look like you have it all together...

From the outside, you're the strong one everyone turns to. The reliable daughter. The high-achiever who never cracks. But inside? You're running on empty, carrying everyone else's expectations while your own needs get pushed aside.

But you're struggling with:

  • Working twice as hard yet still feeling like a fraud

  • Constantly comparing yourself to others

  • Perfectionism that makes you feel struck or frozen

  • Saying yes when you want to say no because disappointing others feels impossible

  • Constant pressure to prove yourself and represent your entire community

This isn't your fault.

You learned early that being "strong" meant never showing weakness. That your worth was tied to what you could do for others. But that exhausting cycle of proving yourself is draining your mind, body, and spirit.

You deserve more.

You deserve to feel good about your success without guilt. To set boundaries without fear. To take up space without apologizing. The story that says you have to choose between achievements and well-being? That's not your truth.

How we'll work together:

Through EMDR, Brainspotting, or talk therapy, we'll help your nervous system finally exhale. We'll address not just the thoughts keeping you stuck, but how your body holds onto stress, perfectionism, and old wounds.

You don't have to carry everyone else's dreams while losing sight of your own. It's time to rewrite your story.

About Me

Hi I'm Suki, thanks for connecting. I have been a therapist for the past 6 years in the Downtown Eastside of Vancouver and have worked in the mental health field for 11 years.

Empowering you to embrace your unique journey is my goal. I meet you where you are, honour your individuality and help you navigate your path forward. Whether you are seeking support for anxiety, depression, career exploration, relationship issues, or simply a desire for personal growth, our sessions will be tailored to your specific needs. Trust, compassion, honesty & some humor is what I hope to foster in our space together.

I have worked with a multitude of individuals from many walks of life, and have been grateful to walk along side them through their counselling journey. A motto I embrace is that I am a human first, therapist second. When I am not working, I can be found with my dog Hershey, attending spin classes, travelling, and watching reality TV.
