TRAUMA INFORMED THERAPISTS

Exhausted. Overthinking. Never Good Enough.

You're capable, driven, and the person everyone counts on. So why does everyone else seem to be handling life just fine?

  • You wake up already exhausted before the day even starts,

  • You're irritable, snapping at people you love and then feeling guilty about it.

  • Your jaw is tight, your sleep is off, and your brain won't stop even when you're done for the day.

  • Somewhere between taking care of everyone else you lost track of you.

At Serenity Counselling, we help you stop shrinking and start living the life you want.

About Us

Some people come to us having tried therapy before. Others are showing up for the first time, unsure of what to expect. What they share is this. Somewhere along the way, they stopped feeling like themselves.

At Serenity Counselling, we believe people have an incredible capacity to grow, find their own voice, and own their life. That belief shapes everything about how we work. We laugh, we sit in the hard stuff, and we do not rush you through it. A lot of the women we work with are carrying more than they let on. If you are a first generation or BIPOC woman you might also know the pressure of family expectations, being compared to siblings or cousins who got better grades, won more awards, or chose the safer path.

With over 20 years of combined clinical experience, we have sat with a lot of different stories. We know healing is not a straight line, and we are not going to pretend it is.

You already have more than you think. We help you stop second-guessing it.

Why Work with Serenity Counselling

01. Human

We show up as real people & not just professionals taking notes. A place to exist without judgement, because that's what actually helps.

02. Encouraging

We're with you on the messy days, not just the breakthroughs. Healing isn't a straight line and we're not going to pretend it is.

03. Authentic

We do the kind of deep work that gets into the roots, not just the symptoms. More than a safe space to talk, this is where real change happens.
